The producer of iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPad 4 version –Apple, has confirmed that the users of the particular brand will be in trouble soon following planned introduction of a new operating system which would render the named phones useless. 
Recall the latest Apple OS is on the way and it's called iOS 11. While it's a good news for majority of Apple fans, it will be a heartbreak for users of old iOS devices.

According to Apple, iOS 11 will make iPhone 5, 5c and iPad 4 obsolete in terms of Apple ecosystem.
The software update (iOS 11) will run only on devices with a 64-bit processor, meaning it won’t be compatible with the guts of the iPhone 5 or iPhone 5c and iPad 4 that feature 32 bit processors. 

However, the phone will still work, but users won’t be able to download the latest apps or security upgrades to protect against hackers and vulnerabilities. In other words, if you are still using and loving your iPhone 5, iPhone 5c or iPad 4 generation, it is time to ditch it out to your younger one or exchange it for a brand new iPhone 6 or 7.

This is a heartsick news to Apple device users with 32 bit processors, but in the world of technology, upgrading is essential.

Access Bank & Others Takeover Etisalat Over N541 Billion

This is shocking! Following the failure of Etisalat Nigeria to pay up its loan amounting N541 billion, a bunch of banks, led by Access Bank PLC and other Nigerian and foreign banks  have taken over the management of Etisalat NG effective from June 15th 2017.

Etisalat obtained the loans from 13 banks in 2013 which are; Guaranty Trust Bank, Access Bank, FCMB, Ecobank, Union bank, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Zenith Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, First Bank and other banks, to refinance its previous debt of $650 million in order to continue its network roll-out across the country.

Premium Times reported that, Etisalat didn’t meet up with the deadline given to them hence the effort of Emerging Markets Telecommunications Services, EMTS falls on deaf hears since they couldn’t reach precise agreement.

EMTS Holding BV, has up to June 23 to complete the transfer of 100 percent of the company’s shares in Etisalat to the United Capital Trustees Limited, the legal representative of the consortium of banks.

Etisalat Group, the parent company of Etisalat Nigeria has already announced the takeover  on Tuesday in a filing to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirate.

Etisalat has been under pressure since the beginning of 2016 following the demand notice for the recovery of a $1.72 billion (about N541.8 billion) loan facility it obtained from a consortium of banks in 2015.

The current economy recession lastly nailed down the Etisalat NG, my most concern now is about their staffs… This is not good news at all!

Coming Soon Device: Infinix Note 4 Specifications, Reviews and Price in Nigeria

According to Google’s year in search 2016, Infinix Note 3 was the most searched for Android smartphone in Nigeria. The device came with ultra-fast charging feature, amazing pixel resolution, Incredible cameras, and outstanding RAM storage, the phone is a winner at hand. The Infinix Note 3 is everything a Smartphone lover would want, which is all packed into one Smartphone.

 Just Imagine how the Infinix Note 4 would be; out of this world, right?

The InfinixMobility is out for genuine business, the company is trying to copycat Samsung's Galaxy Note devices with their coming soon monster device called Infinix Note 4. The Note 4 is a technically upgraded version of the most searched Smartphone in Nigeria 2016 - Infiix Note 3. 10 Ways to Protect Your Smartphone From Water Damage

1. Get a Waterproof Case
A waterproof cover provides the ultimate protection so you can use your phone without any worries. While looking for new covers, look for a waterproof cover that encloses the ports as well.

2. Use Zip Lock Pouches

Note: To install through your sdcard, use the TFcard download link, and to install via SPflashtool or infinix flashtool, use the flashtool download link.

To Flash Your ROM Via TF Card:
1. Reboot your phone into Recovery mode, just like we did back when we made our Nandroid backup.
2. Head to the "Install" or "Install ZIP from SD Card" section of your recovery.
3. Navigate to the ZIP file you downloaded earlier, and select it from the list to flash it.
4. Wait for the process to complete; it may take a few minutes.
5. Depending on your situation, you may also need to wipe your data and/or cache. In TWRP, you'll find this under the "Wipe" section, and in ClockworkMod, you'll need to either choose the "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" option or the "Wipe Cache Partition" option. When you're done, you're free to reboot into your new ROM.

Infinix X603 Coming With 6GB Ram, 64GB ROM and 6-Inch HD Display

Infinixmobility is at it again, and as usual, they are coming out with another elegant smartphone. Right now, infinix is jumping straight to 6GB Ram! The device is put in an appearance with a model number of X603 and it’s scheduled to be launched next week.

The device according to the benchmarking tool boasts of huge 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Our guess is, this might turn out to be the Infinix Zero 5 or Zero 5 Plus.

Though the real name of the smartphone wasn't specified yet, we have a clue here; since the current Infinix Zero 4 Plus has a model number of X602, an indication that the listed infinix phone belongs to the Zero series. It suggests that this yet-to-be announced device could be Infinix Zero 5 or Zero 5 Plus.

The tool also listed the Infinix X603 having the MediaTek Helio P25 with a maximum clock speed of  2.3GHz. The MediaTek Helio P25 which is also known as MT6757 is an Octa-core processor equipped with Mali-T880 dual GPU.

The Infinix X603 also boasts a 6-inch screen having a Full HD display and 1920 by 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by Android 7.0 Nougat with an overlay of XOS Chameleon-Infinix’s custom UI and 4500mAh battery.

According to GFXbench, the device features 12-megapixel sensor with autofocus and face detection support together with a Dual LED flash. While at the front there is a 5MP selfie snapper with 2k Video recording.

Now, it’s important to note that this listing doesn’t confirm that this is indeed the Infinix Zero 5 or zero 5 Plus, but looking at model numbers of the Infinix Zero 4 Plus, it’s possible that this is actually the successor to the Infinix Zero 4 Plus (X602) family. In short, take this with a grain of salt, at least for now.

If the information on  GFXBench turns out to be true, the Infinix X603 will no doubt compete with the high-end devices this year.

Infinix Note 4 X572 Has Been Launched - Check Out It's Official Specs, Price in Nigeria and Kenya

The successor to the sleek Infinix Note 3 is here, Infinix Note 4 (X572) was launched yesterday, Note 4 came with amazing features and it is really a big upgraded version of the most searched Smartphone in Nigeria 2016 - Infiix Note 3.

There have been various rumours about what the upcoming Infinix Note 4 will feature, and that has left many people's imagination to wander. But, it is no more a dream, the long awaited Infinix X572 have been launched on 3rd July 2017.

It comes in two version (Note 4 and Note 4 Pro), Note 4 comes with 2GB/16GB Ram and Rom while Note 4 Pro will come with 3GB/32GB of same. Can’t Install Apps on Your Android Smartphone - See This 5 workable Reasons

There always comes the time when we, Android users, having problems installing apps. Most of us notice it when downloading the lastest and greatest app. If you got the error message “Can't be installed. Try again”. There are various things that could cause a problem when you try to install apps. Check the information below to see if any of these tips solve the issue and allows you to install apps again.

1. Check your phone has enough space for the app
If you have a lot of other apps, videos or photos on your device, it could be using up most of your available memory. Check the needed size of the app you want to install and whether you have enough space for it.
You can check this by going to Settings, then Storage.

2. Your phone’s cache could be causing the problem
Delete the Google Play Store’s cache and data on your Android device and try installing the app again. To delete the cache go to Settings > Apps or application mamager, and All (swipe to the right to find this list). Then look for Google Play Store and tap on it, then click on Storage. Tap on Clear data. Just below that, you should see Clear cache, which you should also tap.


3. Your Android OS is too old and needs updating
Some apps will only work with later OS updates. Try updating your phone and then attempting to install the app again.
You can update your Android’s operating system by going to Settings >About phone and then Software updates. You should see the new update, then select the update and install.


4. A factory reset of your phone may fix the problem
In some cases, resetting your Android device might solve the problem. Before you do that though, make sure everything important on your phone has been backed up so that you can recover it after the reset.
To reset your phone, go to Settings> Backup & reset, and then press Factory data reset.


5. You’re using a screen dimming app
It’s quite common to use an app to adjust your screen’s brightness or the colour of its light. If you are using an app like this, it may be the reason you aren’t able to install Android apps. If you’re seeing the Install button but can’t click on it, this is most likely the problem you are having.

The reason for this is the way these screen dimming apps work. In order to adjust your screen’s output, the app actually adds an additional graphic element on top of your ordinary display. When your phone detects this, it disables the Install button. This is a security measure designed to protect you from malicious software. If it didn’t do this, malware could use an overlay to trick you into doing anything it wanted.

It is important for you to disable such screen-dimming app. Once you have installed the app you want, you can enable the screen-dimming app again, and enjoy your Android.

Ntel Launch Nova Smartphone: A 4G/VoLTE Phone in the Body of a Feature Phone – Specs & Price

Ntel, the Nigeria’s most advanced 4G/LTE broadband operator has launched a new device, not a MiFi, not a Router at this time, but a smartphone called ntel Nova, which physically looks like a feature phone. You may mistake it to be one of the cheap feature phones around. The Nova is an Android smartphone in the case of a feature phone.

It has a 3.5-inch touchscreen and an alphanumeric touchscreen keypad, but it runs Android 6 Marshmallow OS, 1GB Ram and 8GB internal memory with 1800mAh battery capacity. It supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks, with VoLTE (voice over LTE) support. That means you can use the Nova to make calls over a 4G network in addition to regular network calls.
